group ride

My first Birchwood group ride! I admit... I was intimidated. But it turned out great. I ended up riding with one other rider, Allie. She was great, so laid back, nice and fun to chat with. We went at a pretty easy pace, but I didn't mind that and thought it was a perfect way to start out the Birchwood season. I'm really looking forward to it. I think group riding is the way to go for me. The weather was absolutely gorgeous!

I also did a long swim earlier today that went ok, not great. I got through it but it was a mental challenge. I also had a major headache and could not wait to get that swim cap off my head.
