Long run in Nisswa

As my half-iron training is peaking, so is my long run distance. Today: a 15-miler. This is the longest I have run since marathon training last fall. It went well. It was coming off a week of hard training so I was pleasantly surprised I made it through. I did my familiar Nisswa route and went past the Lake Hubert camps, around Round Lake and back again. It felt good. By the end I could really feel it in my quads. When I was done, I wiped the salt off my face, put a headband on my head and headed straight to... The Chocolate Ox! Yum.

Looking forward to a day off tomorrow (Monday) and then some more Camp Tiki...
